Dr. Justine Hoffman

Audiologist

Justine Hoffman earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2023, and received her Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language – Hearing Academy. She grew up just outside of Cleveland, OH, and moved to the Northern Colorado area to pursue her doctorate in 2019. After establishing roots and falling in love with the community over the past four years, she chose to remain in Colorado after completing her program.

Dr. Hoffman completed her externship with an Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic outside of Denver. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Ohio University in Athens, OH in 2019, and has completed internships at the VA and Greeley School District. She has extensive experience with the testing and diagnosis of hearing loss and the fitting of hearing aids for patients of all ages, as well as tinnitus evaluation and treatment.

In her spare time, you will find Dr. Hoffman visiting her family back in her hometown, or exploring the local scenery by biking, walking, or running. She also loves to spend time with her husband, friends, and dogs. Dr. Hoffman is accepting new patients and is excited to be serving the Northern Colorado community.

What is your favorite part about working with your patients?

I really appreciate the long-term relationships that develop with my patients. Helping patients have better hearing better connects them with their loved ones, so I also get to know spouses and children too. When my patients and their families share their successes it gives me so much joy. I also have a special place in my heart for my cochlear implant patients because I have seen what a positive life changing experience cochlear implants can be. I just love being a part of that change.

What is your favorite sound that you always want to be able to hear?

I have really fond memories of family vacations at the beach – so hearing the ocean waves crash on the shore and the seagulls calling. Out here in Colorado we’ve got so many wonderful sounds of nature like the babbling of a mountain stream along a hiking trail.

What is your favorite activity to do outside of work?

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I like to unwind at a local craft brewery. My daughter is a dancer, so I always love watching her perform on stage and cheering her and her teammates on at competitions. During the summer our new favorite family activity is to get out on a lake, paddleboarding for them and kayaking for me.
