Audiologist
Jon Wilson, a Colorado native, has dedicated his career to helping individuals improve their hearing and communication abilities. He attended Columbine High School before earning his Master’s in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado. With over 30 years of experience in the hearing aid industry, Jon has developed extensive expertise in both clinical practice and hearing aid manufacturing.
For nearly two decades, he worked closely with leading hearing aid manufacturers, allowing him to deepen his knowledge of hearing technology and train other professionals in optimizing hearing aid fittings. In addition to his industry experience, Jon has practiced audiology in private clinics, where he learned that successful patient outcomes extend far beyond simply fitting hearing aids. His approach emphasizes patient education and auditory rehabilitation, ensuring that individuals not only receive the right technology but also develop the skills to communicate effectively in their daily lives.

Jon is passionate about helping his patients navigate hearing loss with confidence, offering personalized solutions that enhance their quality of life. He is known for his ability to educate patients on the latest advancements in hearing technology and provide tailored strategies to maximize their communication abilities.
Outside of his professional life, Jon is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his spouse and four children. He makes the most of Colorado’s great outdoors by golfing, camping, and fishing, and he also has a love for traveling, theater, and the arts.
What is your favorite part about working with your patients?
I am passionate about helping my patients hear as well as they possibly can. Every conversation they have with family, friends, coworkers, and loved ones depends on me doing my job with accuracy and care. I take great pride in helping every patient at The Hearing Place achieve the best possible hearing so they can communicate confidently and enjoy a better quality of life.
What is your favorite sound that you always want to be able to hear?
My favorite sound is the sound of the river flowing at Miracle Mile River in Wyoming. That is my true Zen sound.
What is your favorite activity to do outside of work?
My whole entire family is here in Colorado, so any free time I have is spent doing something amazing with the people I love the most. My preference is to do anything outdoors like hiking, biking, paddleboarding, fishing, barbecuing, golfing, etc. Quality time is a big love language for me.
